The Rear Stinger is basically a fold-down spare tire carrier. By pulling the two upper pins, the tire carrier can swing down, making loading and unloading of huge off-road tires easier. Simply roll the tire up into the carrier, secure it with the provided 3-Way Spare Tire Strap, then swing the carrier back up and pin it in place. The main components are fabricated from NC-bent DOM tubing and CNC laser-cut plate steel.
The Tire Carrier includes an integrated skid plate with laser cut lightning holes and Spyder logo. The Stinger hoop is NC-bent 1-3/4" .120 wall DOM tubing. It also has an integrated license plate mount located in the center of the carrier. Tabs for the lower straps and a loop for the upper strap provide a secure mount for the 3-Way Spare Tire Strap.
The Upper Corner Mounts are designed to work with Poison Spyder Crusher Corners™. They are fabricated from CNC laser cut and precision brake-formed 3/16" plate steel components. The Upper Corner Mounts use bolt locations already in place for your Crusher Corners™. The left side Upper Corner Mount includes a convenient CB antenna mount. The Tire Carrier attaches to the Upper Corner Mounts using urethane bushings and removable hitch pins.
The Lower Mounting Plate replaces your Jeep's existing bumper to provide the greatest departure angle possible. The Lower Mount Plate has two sets of heavy duty bushing tabs, where the Tire Carrer attaches using urethane bushings and Grade 8 hardware. The plate also features two integrated, CNC machined 1" thick heavy duty recovery shackle tabs designed to accept 3/4" recovery shacles (sold separately). The Lower Mount Plate attaches to the Jeep with countersunk flat-head stainless steel hardware. The Lower Mount Plate can be ordered with tire carrier bushing tabs to accommodate a variety of body lift heights. Select your body lift height in the options when ordering.
